We Are What We Roar – Child Tee

The “We Are What We Roar” t-shirt design is inspired by Shiloh, our featured kiddo for June 2020. Shiloh is a strong, determined, and joyful eleven-month-old girl from San Diego, California.

Shiloh has a diagnosis of Cri Du Chat syndrome, also known as 5p- (5p minus) syndrome, which is a chromosomal condition that results when a piece of chromosome 5 is missing. “Cri du chat” means “cat’s call” and comes from a characteristic common among infants with the diagnosis: a high-pitched cry that sounds like that of a cat.

Shiloh’s courage shows us the mighty power of a determined roar, regardless of the challenges we face and how small we may feel in facing them.
